That was not the national dish of Quebec. Poutine is only french fries, gravy and cheese curd. No bacon or processed cheese spread. And it is better than life itself!! When made properly, that is.
ReplyDeleteSmoked meat is a common topping on Poutine, m'ami Quebecois! There is no processed cheese curd on this one, but they say there are eggs. I doubt that there are actually eggs, but who knows...
